Questions we get asked first
Do we have to take every module?
No. Every module is switched on or off per school from the marketplace, and the menus only show what you have enabled. Start with students and fees, add exams or transport whenever you are ready — your data is already there when you turn one on.
Does it handle Bikram Sambat dates?
Yes, throughout. Each user chooses AD or BS and their preferred format, and every date field and report column follows that choice — admission dates, fee due dates, attendance registers and printed documents alike.
Can parents see this on their phone?
Yes. The parent app is on the App Store and Google Play, and the whole portal is built to work on a phone browser as well — attendance, results, fee dues and notices without installing anything.
Is our data separate from other schools?
Each school gets its own database, not a shared table with a school column. Backups, restores and deletion are per school, and one school's queries cannot reach another's data.
What about our existing website?
LamaERP includes a website module: pages, news, notices, gallery, downloads and vacancies, on your own domain, editable by your office staff without a developer.
